We, MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD, as the brand owner and official supplier of THAI-X products, hereby issue this official notice concerning the protection of the THAI-X brand, our legitimate business customers and consumers.
Recently, MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD has received an increasing number of customer enquiries and feedback concerning the authenticity of THAI-X products available in the market.
We are aware that such concerns and allegations have caused confusion among customers and have disrupted legitimate sales activities involving THAI-X products and our business customers.
The Company takes these matters seriously and has been actively reviewing the information received.
We have received information concerning suspected counterfeit, imitation and/or unauthorised THAI-X branded products being offered through certain online and offline sales channels.
In response, MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD has collected and reviewed relevant information and supporting evidence, including online product listings, screenshots, seller information, product photographs, purchase records and related communications.
Based on the information collected, reports have been lodged with the relevant authorities, including the police, where appropriate, in connection with suspected infringement, misuse and/or unauthorised use of the THAI-X brand.
The Company will continue to cooperate with the relevant authorities and online marketplace platforms where necessary.
MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD is committed to protecting the THAI-X trademark, brand identity, official supply channels and legitimate business customers.
THAI-X products supplied directly by MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD to our official business customers originate from our recognised supply channel.
Customers are encouraged to purchase THAI-X products from recognised and traceable sales channels and to retain their receipt, invoice or online order record for warranty and after-sales purposes.
THAI-X has also introduced an updated product design for its motorcycle battery products.
During the transition period, both the Previous Design and New Design may be available in the market due to different production batches, existing inventory and distribution timing.
The updated design includes the repositioning / grouping of the applicable Certification Markings, refinement of the “42150” typography and layout, and the addition of the THAI-X mascot.
Differences arising from these official design updates do not by themselves indicate that a product is counterfeit or non-genuine.

MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD welcomes genuine customer feedback, legitimate complaints and product-related enquiries.
However, the Company takes seriously any knowingly false, misleading, malicious or defamatory statements that may cause unnecessary confusion or damage the reputation of THAI-X, MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD or our legitimate business customers.
MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD reserves all rights to take appropriate action, including legal action where necessary, against any party who knowingly publishes, circulates or disseminates false, misleading or defamatory allegations without factual basis.
This includes, where applicable, knowingly making or spreading false allegations that genuine THAI-X products supplied through our official supply channels are counterfeit products.
MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD also reserves all rights to take appropriate action against any party involved in the unauthorised reproduction, imitation, misuse or infringement of the THAI-X trademark, product identity, packaging, labels, artwork, branding or other intellectual property.
Where necessary, such matters may be reported to the relevant authorities, marketplace platforms and other appropriate parties for further action.
Dealers, business partners and members of the public who encounter suspected counterfeit, imitation, unauthorised THAI-X products or misuse of the THAI-X brand may submit relevant information to MOTOR CITY AUTO PARTS SDN BHD for review.
Supporting information may include seller or shop details, online store or product links, product photographs, screenshots, purchase records and other relevant evidence.
Information received will be reviewed for brand protection and enforcement purposes.
For product-related enquiries, warranty claims or after-sales matters, customers are advised to contact the original seller from whom the product was purchased.
